The latter revealed a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee for the Parisian demi-center, which will be operated soon. His unavailability is estimated at several months according to the club.

The injury occurred during a trivial game action In the air while making a pass, Nikola Karabatic is unbalanced and receives poorly. He immediately complains about his knee and has to come off the pitch, supported by his teammates.

An uncertain future

With this long unavailability to come, the international tricolor (313 selections), at PSG since 2015, will miss the championship and Champions League matches (including the 2019-2020 Final Four scheduled for the end of December) with his club.

He will also necessarily be unavailable for the equally important deadlines of the France team, namely the qualifications for Euro 2022 (which begin on November 5), the World Cup in Egypt (from January 13 to 21).
