Ligue 1: Jimmy Briand reaches the 100 goal mark

Author of a penalty against Nîmes, this Sunday (2-0), Bordeaux striker Jimmy Briand scored his 100th goal in Ligue 1. At 35 years, 2 months and 23 days, he became the second oldest player to achieve such performance.

He is the 88th player to reach this symbolic bar. In the French championship, Briand played for Rennes (2003-2010, 33 goals in 169 L 1 games), Lyon (2010-2014, 22 goals in 110 games), Guingamp (2015-2018, 30 goals in 106 games) and therefore Bordeaux since 2018 (15 goals in 57 games).
