Here is a project that does not lack originality. Indeed, Microsoft has just filed a new patent. We learn that the goal is to communicate with deceased people with a chatbot and artificial intelligence. In reality, this chatbot will retrieve the personal data of the missing person, scan them, then allow you to interact with them.
It is therefore a digitized version of the deceased. This project clearly poses an ethical problem, but you should know that in some countries, the subject is less taboo than with us. The Microsoft project is primarily based on artificial intelligence and social networks. Indeed, the chatbot will be able to retrieve precise data on the missing person, then imitate him and imagine his answers. It seems that the project is already well advanced. But he asks some ethical questions.
