Arrival of the quinté : 12 – 3 – 13 – 9 – 7
After the Parisian ash, make way for the flat track of Cagnes-sur-Mer (Alpes-Maritimes). Contested over the long distance of 2,925m, the quinté du jour pitted thirteen competitors, aged 7 to 11. Favorite of this European event, Calina (n ° 12) did not have to force his talent to win his second quinté. After biding his time behind the back of Django du Bocage (n ° 10), she went on the offensive in the last corner to reach the height of Oak Euro (n ° 5), the facilitator, and Celtic Commander (n ° 6), faulty at this point. On a simple acceleration, the resident of Jean-Michel Bazire broke away from her opponents to go and seek a very easy victory. Despite an attractive end of the race, Nile’s Ekiango (n ° 3) is satisfied with a clear second place and precedes Colonel Bond (# 13), who regained considerable ground all the way down the straight. Quickly placed behind the back of the animators, Callijo Delbi (n ° 9) completes the arrival of the quinté and precedes Concerto Gédé (n ° 7) and Olle Rols (n ° 4) separated, in that order, by minimal intervals. Note that Classic Future (n ° 2) lost all chance on a prank at the start while Indentation (n ° 11) has never been in the race. Disappointment with Django du Bocage (n ° 10), beaten from the last turn.
Stéphan Flourent and Kévin Romain indicated the trifecta out of order.
