summary :
D-1 before the US presidential election. If the polls give the advantage to Democrat Joe Biden, the suspense remains. In a deeply divided America, everything will depend on the unpredictable results of a few key states.
Among them, Florida, which has many retirees committed to the cause of Donald Trump. But some are disappointed with his handling of the coronavirus crisis and could tip the scales. Further north, Michigan’s fate is just as uncertain. The state, which had fallen into the camp of the Republicans in 2016, could return to the hands of the Democrats, in particular thanks to the mobilization of the black community. In North Carolina, it is the women’s vote that should be crucial.
Yona Helaoua, Parisian correspondent in Washington, has been traveling the country for over a month. For Code Source, she opens her campaign books, and tells her reports in these states which could change the ballot.
